Rio de Janeiro is a marvellous city. Beautiful tanned people. Magnificent scenery. Drinking beers on the beach is practically mandated by local bylaw. A big bag of South America’s most famous export* will set you back a princely AUD$19. Or so I’m told.

But the internet is slow and expensive. Not good for downloading MP3s in the fashion I’ve become accustomed. It took my contact in the Bolivian paramilitaries about 4 months to get the bootleg CDs to me I ordered, meaning this mix comes to you after lengthy delay. I’m sure you’ll understand.
