LORDS OF THE SYNTH

I have no special milestone or theme to promote today. A few of the track titles feature the words “start” and “stop”, so maybe I’ll go with that.

I do have some of the most wholesome electro-synth-rock-opera soundtrack fodder EVER, courtesy of The Requesters. The Requesters have terrible search engine marketing capabilities, evidently, because i can’t find any info about them except this excellent post about The Requesters by fellow Aussies @ Electrorash blog.

Oh, and there’s some Journey in there, too. Naturally.

Little secret: STUART and I generally take it in turns to release our little interweb-radio-show-tubescasts. We get them mixed and produced offshore (Taiwan, for me. Stu uses child-slave labor from all over west Africa) and import them in bulk. Then, we release them for your listening pleasure regularly, generating anticipation and a perception of quality on account of the (albeit short) wait between releases. Kind of like how all the Lord Of The Rings movies were made all at the same time, but released with big gaps in the middle.

But sometimes STUART gets a bit too worked up and just can’t hold on enough and accidentally lets another one off a little bit early.

Morale of the story is: some of the tracks used may overlap Stu’s #045 and this MP3 may be labelled Podcast #45, but I ain’t changin’ it since it’s been up in the production line release queue for a while.
